Sidorela has studied Computer Engineering. She is a open source user and advocate and also contributes to various FOSS projects like OpenStreetMap, LibreOffice and Wikimedia. She is a board member of Open Labs Hackerspace, a community promoting the idea of free open source technologies, online privacy and open data in Tirana, Albania. Also co-organizer of OSCAL for the last two years.
